This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies LoveOkClick uses on loveokclick.com, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a site to recognize your device, remember information about your visit, and, in the case of a game like ours, remember things such as your saved squad and formation between visits.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
We group cookies into four categories, explained in Sections 3 to 6 below: strictly necessary, preference/functionality, analytics/performance, and advertising. Only the first category loads automatically; the others load only after you give consent through our cookie banner.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the site to function — for example, keeping you logged in during a session or remembering your cookie consent choice. Because they are essential, they cannot be switched off through our consent tool, though you can block them using your browser settings at the cost of some site functionality.
4. Preference (Functionality) Cookies
These remember choices you make, such as your preferred formation view or whether you dismissed a particular tip, so you don't have to reset them on every visit.
5. Analytics (Performance) Cookies
These help us understand how managers use the squad builder and calculator — for example, which pages are most visited and where people run into difficulty — so we can improve the product. Data is aggregated and used for product decisions, not to identify you individually.
6. Advertising Cookies
Used on the Free tier only, these help display relevant, contextual advertising and measure ad performance. Managers on the Plus subscription do not see advertising and these cookies are not set for them. Advertising cookies only load if you accept the "All" option in our cookie banner.
7. Third-Party Cookies
Some analytics and advertising cookies are set by carefully selected third-party service providers acting on our behalf under a data processing agreement, rather than by loveokclick.com directly. We do not permit these providers to use data collected on our site for their own independent marketing purposes.
8. Cookie Duration
Cookies are either session cookies, which are deleted automatically when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a fixed period (shown in the table in Section 11) or until you delete them manually.
9. Legal Basis and Consent
Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the site. All other cookie categories are used only on the basis of your freely given, specific, and informed consent, collected through the banner described in Section 10, in line with Spanish and EU e-privacy rules.
10. Our Consent Banner
On your first visit, a banner lets you choose "Accept All" or "Essential Only". Non-essential cookies only load after you actively choose "Accept All". You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for loveokclick.com and revisiting the site, which will show the banner again.

12. Managing Cookies In Your Browser
In addition to our on-site banner, all modern browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings menu. Because the menu location varies by browser and version, we recommend checking your browser's help documentation for "cookie settings" or "site data" if you want to manage cookies at the browser level rather than through our banner.
13. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no unified industry standard for how sites should respond to DNT signals, so loveokclick.com does not currently change its behavior based on this signal; instead, we rely on the explicit choice you make in our cookie banner.
14. Local Storage and Similar Technologies
Beyond cookies, we use browser local storage to save data needed for gameplay, such as your in-progress squad in the Build Your Team tool. Local storage behaves similarly to a persistent cookie but is not automatically sent to our servers with every request; it stays on your device until you clear your browser data.
15. What Happens If You Disable Cookies
If you block strictly necessary cookies, some features — such as staying signed in or keeping your consent choice remembered — may stop working correctly. If you decline preference, analytics, or advertising cookies, the core game remains fully playable; you simply won't benefit from saved preferences or see relevant advertising.
16. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where appropriate, we will prompt you to review your consent choices again.
